Three Men Arrested in Connection With Parcel Scam

Three men have been arrested in connection with an investigation into a parcel scam at a delivery depot in North Warwickshire.
The men are suspected of being involved in a scam where more than £500k of parcels were fraudulently diverted to the wrong addresses where the goods were then sold on.
They were arrested after the force’s Economic Crime Team executed warrants at two properties in Leicester and one in Birmingham. They were supported by officers from the West Midlands Regional Organised Crime Unit and Warwickshire Police Tactical Support Team.
A 48-year-old man from Birmingham, a 22-year-old man from Leicester and a 21-year-old man from Leicester were all arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud. All three were later bailed while enquiries continue.
Officers also seized £60k worth of property, two cars and £37k in cash.
