Man Arrested by Police Investigating Robbery at Dordon Shop

A man has been arrested by police investigating an armed robbery at a shop in Dordon.

The man, aged 33 and from Birmingham, was arrested on Monday 15 April, afternoon in Birmingham on suspicion of robbery.

He remains in police custody where he is being questioned by officers.

The arrest follows the incident at the Co-op in New Street on the morning of 6 February where two offenders entered the store armed with a knife and firearm and stole cash and cigarettes.

A 39-year-old man and 29-year-old woman, both from Birmingham, previously arrested on suspicion of robbery, remain on police bail while enquiries continue.
